Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has paid a farewell to the delegation from Group Credit Agricole of Morocco (GCAM) which was in country for 11 days mission.

The delegation was in Tanzania to develop and facilitate TADB’s Credit Scoring System which is to be used in scoring small holder’s farmer’s projects as well as implementing the operationalization of the signed MoU.

TADB and GCAM signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in October 2016.The signed MoU intends to promote productive investments in the agriculture sector and development of agro-industrial value chain in Tanzania and Morocco.

According to the TADB Management, these objectives will be achieved through promotion of financing and support systems, especially for smallholder’s farmers.

The delegation from GCAM was led by Director of Engineering and Agro business, Mr. Jalal Bouchama, other members include Chief of Agroindustry Department, Mrs. Sanae Benmali, Director of Credit Information System, Mr. Abdessamad Danguir and Ms. Sara Nachid, IT Developer.

TADB is first financial institution in Tanzania to get assistance from GCAM, which aim to enhance agricultural activities and to stabilize rural populations by improving their living standards.
